I love the fact of a defensive game but all the metrics point to an over’s game. ND games are 11-0-1 to the Over since 2020 when the total is no higher than 49.5 (46.5). Slow first half, offenses figure it out second half, ultimately comes down to a game changing drive under two minutes yet we come out.
Leonard gets 3 total TD’s, Mitch Evans makes his weekly miracle catch with one hand probably, RB core shows out vs a dominant A&M DL in second half, Klein calls a disaster opening game as OC, Notre Dame wins turnover battle, and Elko loses to Notre Dame…again.

This game will come down to how much Notre Dame's inexperienced offensive line can handle Texas A&M's standout defensive line. Notre Dame has the luxury of the top OC in the country and a mobile QB in Riley Leonard, along with a top tier defense.
A&M will not put many points on the board in my opinion. If Notre Dame can put up more than 20 points, I fully believe this results in a Irish victory.
